BABY MASSAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The booking fee is for the full 5-week course and must be paid in advance to secure your booking. Drop-in classes are not available.
One to two weeks before the course starts, you will receive an email from Motherbloom with additional information on the course. If you do not receive this email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Baby massage contraindications
Please read the below contraindications to baby massage to check that your baby doesn’t meet any of them before attending the class.
Baby has unstable joints, brittle bones or fractures
Baby is taking any form of medication (consult with GP first)
Baby has skin rash or cuts
Baby has any systemic, contagious or infectious conditions
Baby has acute, unstable or advanced conditions of the heart, kidney or liver
Baby’s umbilicus is unhealed (avoid the area)
Baby has temperature above 37.5C
Cancellations and refunds
Any classes you miss during the course cannot be refunded individually and cannot be transferred to another person.
Motherbloom reserves the right to cancel a course or class due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum numbers required are not met. If an entire course is cancelled an alternative date for commencement will be offered or otherwise a full refund issued. Should an individual class be cancelled, the course will be extended by adding another week onto the end of the course, either in person or online.
Illnesses & Covid-19
Please do not bring your child to classes if they have any kind of sickness, diarrhoea, chicken pox, impetigo or conjunctivitis. Please follow your doctor’s advice and get the all clear before returning to classes. If your child has had sickness and diarrhoea they must be clear of all symptoms for at least 48 hours before coming to a class.
Please do not attend the class and inform Motherbloom if you or your child present at least one of the main symptoms of Covid-19 (fever, new continuous cough or loss of taste/smell).
If Motherbloom develops Covid-19 symptoms (or indeed any other infectious illness) or a member of their household develops these symptoms, classes shall be postponed or online alternatives shall be provided until Motherbloom is no longer an infection risk. No refunds shall be given in these circumstances.
In the event of a local or national lockdown where Motherbloom classes are unable to continue in-person, all classes will be transferred online on the same dates and times as the original course booked. Refunds or transfers to alternative dates will not be issued. If any of the class venues takes a decision to close for any reason, classes will also be moved to online.
Motherbloom are not liable for any damage or injury that may occur whilst attending our classes.
Motherbloom cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions during or after our classes.
